Introduction

This site was a live, "on the scene" report site on an experimental typeface design workshop that took place in the Department of Graphic Design at the Institute of Design at Lahti Polytechnic in Finland. Students had two weeks to create a typeface and present it using new media techniques. The theme was "intelligence".

The workshop was given by three teachers from Sint Lucas Antwerp: Lucas Nijs, Frederik De Bleser and Tom De Smedt.

Tools used during this workshop include FontLab, DrawBot, Processing and Macromedia Director and Flash.
