Day 7: Idea revision/presentation
Time for the daily presentation. Take it away, Hannu!
There are rules in creating designs as there are in creating anything else.
After given a set of rules, my NodeBox work would design a piece of visual identity for a word, sentence, or given set of words. (As compared to designing a product visual identity).
My idea as simply as I can put it:
INPUT :
word, a string of words
V
OUTPUT :
piece of visual identity based on how the internet treats those words
It would retrieve the color values and, for instance, image content from inputted words cycled through babelfish.
You could also adjust the level of randomness in choosing the letterfaces, color values, etc. by a variable but in a set framework. The more randomness, the farer away from the original language.
Here’s some first tryouts of the concept in NodeBox with very limited programming skills (simple set of rules that dictate the size of the “headline” and “leader”):
Uggghhh… Brain hurt.
